The Palm and Pocket PC editions of the Sanford Guide to Antimicrobial Therapy contain the entire content of the print edition: all tables, references, footnotes and the complete index. Nothing has been eliminated.
Table numbering is the same as found in the book and there are numerous internal references on the PDA with corresponding page numbers from the book.
Of necessity, the format has been adapted to best display information on the Palm or Pocket PC screen. The Sanford Guide uses the patent pending Dynamic Hierarchy and Dual Window Display technologies for this purpose. As a result, not only is there new functionality incorporated on the PDA editions; but at the same time the look and feel of the Sanford Guide in print are preserved on the PDA editions as well.
And like the print editions, the PDA editions will be fully updated annually.
