Customer Service Representative
Antimicrobial Therapy Inc., publisher and developer of Sanford Guide healthcare solutions, seeks a full-time Customer Service Representative to work out of our office in Sperryville, VA. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, a fast learner, technically savvy, a team player, effective in written and verbal communication, and excited about joining a small and nimble team that works hard to improve healthcare around the world.
Antimicrobial Therapy, Inc., now in its 58th year, is a leading provider of rapid-reference guidelines that aid prescribers and pharmacists in the treatment of infectious diseases and pediatric patients. We have top-rated mobile apps, a web portal, and print manuals, together supporting over 500,000 clinicians around the world. This position will report to our Director of Client Operations.

Duties:
- Serve as a front-line representative of a growing business with a diverse international clientele.
- Monitor and respond to email inquiries about orders, products, services, and support in a courteous and professional manner.
- Escalate emails with potential for larger value sales to the sales team for follow-up.
- Screen calls and transfer, reject, or send to voicemail as appropriate.
- Provide over-the-phone technical support and customer service to current and prospective customers.
- Fulfill orders including online processing, shipment preparation, and post-order data entry.
- Collect feedback from customers and share with the Implementation Manager.
- Manage inventory of physical products in the warehouse, in our accounting software, and in our eCommerce platform.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree or above receives special consideration)
- 3-5 years of experience providing customer service in a corporate/business setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and having a collegial attitude
- Comfort with iOS and/or Android devices, including basic troubleshooting, user settings, etc.
- Attention to detail. Be sure to mention this in your cover letter, or your application will not be reviewed
- Comfort working on a Mac or Windows computer (we use Mac, but can train you if you’re comfortable with Windows)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of criminal background check and eVerify screening (background check begins prior to start date, eVerify during first week of work)
- Maintain current vaccinations for influenza, COVID-19, and other viruses as necessary
- Must be located or willing to relocate to within commuting distance of Sperryville, VA
Desired Skills & Qualifications (nice to have):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Verbal and written proficiency in other languages (Especially Spanish or Portuguese)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Experience serving as technical support/IT helpdesk representative
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms to process online and phone orders
- Education or experience in the healthcare sector
- Experience working collaboratively in an environment with both remote and in-person employees
Compensation & Work Environment:
- $55,000-65,000/year (DOE) and modest annual bonus
- Minimum 24 days of paid leave per year, plus 2 weeks additional leave every 3 years
- 12 paid holidays (13 for U.S. veterans)
